ETHRA Public Transit is committed in providing a safe transit system for all customers. All drivers are trained in all appropriate safety requirements and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. In addition ongoing training is provided throughout the course of employment. All vehicles are maintained on a regular basis through our own maintenance facility and are equipped with the required safety equipment.
	If you are involved in an accident while in transit, please remain calm and follow the direction of your driver. Be assured that every driver is trained in accident and emergency procedure. If evacuation of the vehicle is warranted please help your driver by making the procedure as orderly as possible.
	ETHRA Public Transit follows the same policy as the county school systems. If the schools are closed in your county, ETHRA will not be providing transportation. Exceptions will be made on days where main roads are clear and drivers have determined they can transport customers safely. If this occurs, you will be notified that transportation is available.
