Exceptions will be made on days where main roads are clear and drivers have determined they can transport customers safely. If this occurs, you will be notified that transportation is available. |

| ETHRA Public Transit reservations are made on a first come first serve basis. Customers should call 1.800.232.1565 to schedule a trip at least 3 business days in advance. Requests made after the 3 days will be considered based on available space. Passengers should be ready for pick up at least thirty minutes before scheduled pick up time. Due to time and distance customers may be asked to be ready up to one hour plus driving time before appointment time. |

| All drivers are required to assist each customer in and out of the vehicle. Disabled customers and customers transported in a wheelchair are encouraged to have an escort or attendant to assist the driver if the customer is not physically or mentally able to assist themselves. This escort can ride without charge. ETHRA Public Transit has a one step policy which means drivers are required only to assist a wheelchair customer up or down one step or curb. Any customers needing more assistance will be encouraged to provide additional assistance. All wheelchairs must be equipped with functional brakes and foot rests. Animals are not allowed on the vehicle other than service animals for the disabled. Packages should be limited to two per customer and be secured in the back of the vehicle. Drivers are required to assist with these packages. A parent or legal guardian should accompany minors under the age of 18. Exceptions will be made based on circumstances and upon receiving prior approval from the Administrator. | |||
