ETHRA Public Transit operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Customers should call 3 business days in advance. ETHRA Buses do not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, New Year’s Day, MLK Holiday, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Eve & Day or other training dates.

ETHRA Public Transit is a rural and public demand
response transportation program designed to help citizens
in a sixteen county area meet their mobility needs. These counties are Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne,
Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier and Union. ETHRA Public Transit provides door to door, non-emergency transportation service including accessibility to persons with disabilities.
Anyone can ride.
ETHRA Public Transit is committed in providing a safe transit system for all customers. All drivers are trained in all appropriate safety requirements and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. In addition ongoing training is provided throughout the course of employment. All vehicles are maintained on a regular basis through our own maintenance facility and are equipped with the required
safety equipment.

ETHRA Public Transit will make every effort to

transportation. But, due to limited resources, customers
may be asked to reschedule for another time or day.
